Madison Juschin
Madison Juschin is an Associate in Tyson & Mendes’ San Francisco Bay Area office. Her practice focuses on insurance defense litigation, including a broad range of liability matters, complex commercial disputes, contract-related claims, and regulatory issues, with additional concentration in privacy and cybersecurity matters.
Ms. Juschin brings more than 14 years of legal experience representing domestic and international companies in high-exposure litigation, regulatory proceedings, and risk management matters. Her background includes both in-house and law firm roles, allowing her to deliver practical, business-focused strategies tailored to insurers and insureds alike. Ms. Juschin has successfully defended clients in state and federal courts in complex liability and commercial matters, positioning cases for early resolution or strategic litigation outcomes. She has extensive experience managing and defending data breach and cybersecurity-related claims, coordinating incident response and regulatory strategy to reduce exposure and protect client interests. Ms. Juschin has also drafted, negotiated, and enforced commercial contracts, advised clients on coverage-related risk issues, and supported insurers and policyholders in matters involving regulatory compliance and emerging risk. In addition, she has led multi-jurisdictional matters, coordinating with experts, insurers, and external counsel to efficiently manage complex litigation portfolios. Ms. Juschin is admitted to practice law in California and is admitted before all California state courts and the federal district courts in California.
Ms. Juschin obtained her J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law, graduating on the Dean’s List in the top ten percent of her class. She obtained her B.A. in Political Science and International Relations from the University of California, Davis, and completed doctoral-level legal studies at the University of Innsbruck, with a scholarly focus on regulatory and data protection law. Ms. Juschin also holds a Data Privacy and Protection Certificate from Harvard Business School, reflecting advanced training in privacy, cybersecurity, and enterprise risk management.
Outside of her legal practice, Ms. Juschin enjoys travel, skiing, and dancing. She has a strong interest in technology and risk trends affecting the insurance industry, and she values time spent with family and friends.
