Kathryn Maker

Kathryn Maker is an Associate in Tyson & Mendes’ San Diego office. Her practice focuses on personal injury defense, including motor vehicle, premises liability, and general negligence.

Since passing the California Bar, Ms. Maker has successfully argued motions and made court appearances.

Ms. Maker obtained her J.D. from Pepperdine Caruso School of Law in 2025, where she served on the Pepperdine Law Review and competed on the Pepperdine Trial Team. She obtained her B.A. in Political Science with a minor in History from Lehigh University in 2022, where she participated in the Eckardt Scholars Program and competed on the Lehigh University Mock Trial Team. Currently, Ms. Maker is a member of the San Diego Defense Lawyers.

In her free time, Ms. Maker enjoys spending time at the beach, reading, and paddleboarding.
