Dayna Carter

Dayna Carter is Senior Counsel in Tyson & Mendes’ Orange County Office. Her practice focuses on employment law and compliance with the ever-changing state and federal employment laws.

Ms. Carter has worked in civil litigation for nearly two decades. She excels at defending businesses and organizations against claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation and various other allegations. Recently, Ms. Carter successfully defended a multi-national food distribution company against claims of sexual assault, battery and retaliation. In addition, she trains companies and their employees on compliance with the law and prevention of claims. Ms. Carter provides training for human resource staff regarding the investigation of claims.

Ms. Carter obtained her J.D. from Whittier Law School, where she specialized in international and criminal law. She obtained her B.S. from Arizona State University in Justice Studies and Communications.

Originally from Arizona, Ms. Carter enjoys being out in the sunshine. When not at work, she enjoys cooking and spending time with her family.
