Adam Eberts

Adam Eberts is Senior Counsel in Tyson & Mendes’s San Francisco Bay Area office. His practice focuses on personal injury and premises liability defense.

Mr. Eberts has extensive litigation experience, representing individuals and businesses in courts of all levels throughout California. He has earned winning jury verdicts as both plaintiff’s counsel and defense counsel. He embraces interlocutory appellate practice, including obtaining a discretionary writ of mandate against a trial court judge who refused to follow California arbitration law. And, he is proficient in post-judgment litigation, from motions for new trial through appellate briefing on the merits, applications for certiorari, and case publication and de-publication.

Mr. Eberts obtained his J.D. from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where he received high grade awards in Evidence, Law & Rhetoric, and Advanced Trial Advocacy, graduating cum laude. While there, he competed for the school’s mock trial team, finishing second at the 2006 ABA Criminal Section’s John Marshall International Mock Trial Competition and winning the 2005 ABA Labor & Employment Section Mock Trial Competition. He obtained his B.A. from The Ohio State University, where he competed on the Ohio State Equestrian Team, winning Reserve National Champion honors in western horsemanship at both the 1999 and 2001 IHSA National Championships.

In his free time, Mr. Eberts enjoys coaching grassroots soccer, keeping up on the latest in legal technology, and spending time with his wife, son, and animals at his home in Sonoma County.
