Attorney Heather Bean to Join Retail, Restaurant and Hospitality Practice Group
LOS ANGELES (Oct. 23, 2017) – Civil litigation firm Tyson & Mendes LLP has expanded its Los Angeles office as well as its retail, restaurant and hospitality practice group with the addition of Heather Bean as a new partner.
In her new role at Tyson & Mendes, Bean will concentrate her practice on general liability, personal injury, premises liability and products liability claims. She will also advise clients on risk management and strategy issues.

With a 15-year legal background, Bean is a trial attorney who has also successfully obtained dismissals through demurrers and motions for summary judgment on issues involving premises liability and dangerous condition of public property. With considerable premises and products claims experience, she has also handled contractual claims and recently prevailed at trial on issues involving indemnity and declaratory relief, where her client was awarded a significant six-figure verdict. She has briefed and argued numerous appeals before the California Courts of Appeal and 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.
Bean received her Bachelors of Arts Degree from the University of Oregon and earned her Juris Doctorate Degree from Southwestern University School of Law. She is admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court – Central District of California, and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.
