Sarah B. Hartig

Sarah Hartig is Senior Counsel at Tyson & Mendes’ Las Vegas office. Her practice focuses on defense of general liability claims, with an emphasis on motor vehicle accidents, trucking, premise liability, and product liability, including defense of claims involving catastrophic injury and traumatic brain injury. Ms. Hartig has been licensed to practice in Nevada for over 16 years.
Ms. Hartig is skilled in handling all facets of the litigation process in both state and federal courts, from inception through resolution, including discovery, depositions, trial preparation, and trial. She has extensive experience litigating high exposure cases involving multimillion-dollar damage claims. Ms. Hartig has participated in dozens of arbitration proceedings resulting in favorable judgements on behalf of her clients. She has also successfully mediated countless cases to achieve settlements well below the projected exposure to her clients.
Ms. Hartig obtained her J.D. in 2006 from the William S. Boyd School of Law in Las Vegas and her BA from the University of Nevada Las Vegas in 2003. She has been a member of the Nevada chapter of Inns of Court and routinely volunteers as a judge for student mock trial competitions.
In her free time, Ms. Hartig enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs (a Cane Corso and a Pug) and two cats. Ms. Hartig also enjoys yoga, hiking, cooking, and traveling.
