Samuel Velasquez

Samuel Velasquez is an Associate Attorney in Tyson & Mendes’ Houston office. His practice focuses on personal injury and insurance defense.

With prior experience through different practice areas, Mr. Velasquez brings a unique approach to each case. Mr. Velasquez has a charismatic, personable way about him that allows him to forge relationships and develop an understanding of others and their needs. His amicable personality serves him well when working with clients to devise the best strategy to obtain the desired case outcome. His hard work and attention to detail pay off as he digs into each case and the information that differentiates it. Through that keen analysis, Mr. Velasquez puts together strategic options that will achieve his client’s goals.

Mr. Velasquez obtained his J.D. from Louisiana State University’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2021, where he served as President of the Hispanic Law Students Association. He obtained his B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin in 2016, where he was involved in many organizations on campus throughout his time there.

In his free time, Mr. Velasquez enjoys traveling, music, and sports involving both the Longhorns and the Tigers.
