Rachel Marshall is an Associate at Tyson & Mendes’ Seattle office. Her practice focuses primarily on general liability and personal injury litigation.
Ms. Marshall has experience resolving numerous criminal defense cases. Prior to joining Tyson & Mendes, Ms. Marshall worked as a criminal defense attorney representing individuals at all levels of the criminal judicial process, including arraignment, pretrial, motion, trial, and review hearings. Ms. Marshall’s strength lies in negotiating the best possible outcome for her clients and has been successful in negotiating pleas to lesser charges or outright dismissals in criminal misdemeanor cases. Ms. Marshall has experience in case management at all stages of litigation from inception to trial.
Ms. Marshall is licensed to practice in Washington state. Ms. Marshall obtained her J.D. from the Seattle University School of Law in 2018, where she served as the Managing Editor for the Seattle Journal of Environmental Law and graduated cum laude. Ms. Marshall is a member of the Jesuit honor society, Alpha Sigma Nu and the Loren Miller Bar Association.
In her free time, Ms. Marshall enjoys spending time with her husband, Elbert, and two children, Elington and Sydney. She also enjoys baking, traveling, and wine tasting.
