Rachel L. Ragan

Rachel L. Ragan is Senior Counsel at Tyson & Mendes’ Jacksonville office. Her practice focuses primarily on bodily injury cases involving general liability, automobile negligence, and premises liability.

Prior to joining Tyson & Mendes, Ms. Ragan was a junior partner at a large Florida insurance defense firm. Her time there expanded her experience litigating bodily injury matters in admitted liability and disputed liability cases. She handled these cases from pre-suit through all stages of litigation including discovery, motion practice, conducting and defending depositions, appearing at mediations and hearings, and preparing cases for trial. Ms. Ragan also has experience handling high-value injury cases for plaintiffs with surgical injuries, which gives her keen insight into potential plaintiff arguments and helps her create effective defense strategies. Additionally, Ms. Ragan has practiced real estate transactions, real estate disputes, and defamation. She is admitted to practice in Florida.

Ms. Ragan obtained her J.D. from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2013. Prior to law school, Ms. Ragan attended Florida State University, earning her B.A. in International Affairs in 2010.

In her free time, Ms. Ragan enjoys spending time with her husband, dogs, traveling, and attending concerts.
