Oscar Jimenez is Senior Counsel at Tyson & Mendes’ Northern California office, where he brings over 25 years of extensive experience in all aspects of complex civil litigation. His practice areas include construction law, professional liability, employment law, and personal injury, with a strong background in business, corporate, and transactional law.
Mr. Jimenez has litigated cases all over the state and in federal court, representing high-profile clients in numerous multimillion-dollar lawsuits. He has also served as Chief Legal Officer and legal advisor to several technology-related startups. Mr. Jimenez is admitted to the California Bar and the Northern and Eastern U.S. District Courts.
Mr. Jimenez obtained his J.D. with a Certificate of Specialization in Labor and Employment Law (with distinction) from Golden Gate University Law School and most recently completed a Certificate on Blockchain Technology and Cryptocurrency through the Haas Business School Executive Education program at U.C. Berkeley. He graduated from U.C. Davis in 1992 with a B.S. in Economics and a minor in Music.
Outside of the office, Mr. Jimenez enjoys hanging out with his daughter and son, Caitlin and Brady, as well as his Siberian husky and black lab, Buster and Kona. He is also an aspiring musician, dabbling mostly in the guitar and piano, and an avid fan of any live music and all Bay Area sports teams.
