Nick Schechter is an Associate at Tyson & Mendes’ San Diego office. His practice focuses on catastrophic personal injury defense, employment practices litigation defense, medical malpractice defense, and the defense of entity defendants where sexual torts are alleged, including sexual assault and child sexual abuse.
Mr. Schechter has extensive litigation experience, including representing doctors and other healthcare providers in state court and in federal district court, as well as in investigations by the California Medical and Nursing Boards. Mr. Schechter has obtained numerous summary judgments for his clients and prepared for numerous trials, many of which resulted in defense verdicts.
Mr. Schechter obtained his J.D. from California Western School of Law in 2011, where he made the Dean’s Honor List. He obtained his B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley in 2006, where he majored in History and graduated with Honors. Mr. Schechter is a member of the California Bar Association. He is also a member of the San Diego Defense Lawyers and serves on the Board of Directors.
In his free time, Mr. Schechter enjoys playing tennis and spending time with his friends and family.
