Midori Sagara is a Senior Counsel in Tyson & Mendes’ Seattle office. Her practice focuses on personal injury defense.
Ms. Sagara has substantial litigation experience representing individuals and insurers in state and federal courts in Washington and Oregon. Ms. Sagara has second chaired two jury trials: a traumatic brain injury case which resulted in a defense verdict, and a lender case which resulted in a significant cash settlement mid-trial. Ms. Sagara argued and prevailed against a motion for discretionary review before the Washington Court of Appeals. In addition, Ms. Sagara has represented individuals and carriers at numerous mandatory arbitrations, and she recently obtained two defense verdicts.
Ms. Sagara obtained her J.D. from Seattle University in 2007, where she participated in the Women’s Law Caucus and Asian Pacific Islander Law Students Association. She obtained her B.A. from the University of Puget Sound in 2002, where she majored in International Political Economy and graduated with honors.
In her free time, Ms. Sagara enjoys spending time with her rescue dog. She also enjoys yoga, pilates, jogging, and volunteering.
