Marianne (Mimi) Gordon

Marianne (Mimi) Gordon is Senior Counsel at Tyson & Mendes’ Los Angeles office. Her practice includes general and professional liability and insurance litigation. More specifically, her practice focuses on the defense of entity and organization defendants involving allegations of sexual misconduct.
Ms. Gordon has extensive litigation experience representing businesses in state courts throughout California. Prior to joining Tyson & Mendes, Ms. Gordon focused on aiding individuals in federal immigration court, and she successfully litigated cases in federal courts throughout the country. Ms. Gordon was selected as a fellow of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) in 2013. As an ABOTA fellow, she had the opportunity to clerk for The Honorable Steven R. Van Sicklen of the Los Angeles Superior Court. Ms. Gordon is an enthusiastic litigator and skilled negotiator on behalf of her clients.
Ms. Gordon obtained her J.D. in 2013 from Southwestern Law School, where she completed the accelerated two-year Juris Doctor program (SCALE). During law school, Ms. Gordon was a certified law clerk for the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, where she conducted multiple preliminary hearings. Ms. Gordon obtained her B.A. in Public Relations from the University of South Carolina in 2011.
In her free time, Ms. Gordon enjoys cooking and trying new restaurants. She is an avid traveler who appreciates fashion and SEC football.
