Lisa Iulianelli

Lisa Iulianelli is Senior Counsel in Tyson & Mendes’ San Diego office and works with a multi-attorney team. Her practice focuses on catastrophic personal injury defense and the defense of entity defendants where sexual torts are alleged.

Ms. Iulianelli began her career in Michigan at the largest medical malpractice defense firm in the country and handled exclusively birth trauma litigation. She later moved to California, where she continued to defend insured and self-insured healthcare providers and healthcare entities. Ms. Iulianelli has second-chaired several cases to defense verdicts for her clients. She has also settled cases for extraordinarily low amounts, thus saving her clients millions of dollars.

Ms. Iulianelli obtained her J.D. from Cumberland Law School. She obtained her B.A. from Samford University. Ms. Iulianelli is a member in good standing of the state bars of Michigan, (1990), Alabama (1991), and California (1996).

In her free time, Ms. Iulianelli enjoys creating multi-media art pieces, reading Constitutional history, traveling, and learning new languages. For many years, she has volunteered as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for foster children. She enjoys spending time with the numerous cats and dogs she has rescued.
