Kayla Huynh is an Associate in Tyson & Mendes’ San Diego office, where practice focuses on general liability, professional liability, and personal injury litigation.
Ms. Huynh has experience representing individuals and corporations across California. Ms. Huynh participated in Tyson & Mendes’ clerkship program, where she expanded her knowledge and experience in drafting persuasive motions and oppositions, assisting with trial strategy, and preparing various discovery matters in complex multi-district litigation matters.
Ms. Huynh obtained her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law, with the distinction of Order of Barristers. While in law school, Ms. Huynh externed for the Honorable Dana M. Sabraw in the United States District Court for the Southern District of California. She served as Chair of the Appellate Moot Court Executive Board and Comment Editor for the San Diego International Law Journal, and worked as a teaching assistant. She earned awards including “Best Brief” and First Place Overall in the USD Alumni Torts Competition. Ms. Huynh earned her B.A. from California State University, Long Beach.
In her free time, Ms. Huynh enjoys hiking with her dog, traveling, and spending time with family.
