Katrina Decker
Katrina Decker is Senior Counsel in Tyson & Mendes’ Northern California Office. Her practice focuses on complex multi-party construction litigation, real estate litigation, professional liability, landlord tenant and habitability, personal injury and general liability litigation.
Ms. Decker has a wide range of civil litigation experience and has represented defendants and plaintiffs in state courts throughout California in the areas of personal injury, real estate litigation, habitability and landlord-tenant matters. She has successfully handled hundreds of cases from inception through all phases of litigation, including arbitration/mediation and settlement and/or trial. Ms. Decker has also proved to be very adept at stepping into cases late in the litigation process, evaluating the best path forward (be it settlement or trial) and readying the cases for a successful outcome.
Ms. Decker obtained her J.D. degree from UC Hastings College of Law and wrote for the Land Conservation Law newsletter, The Back Forty. She obtained a B.S. in Business Administration, majoring in Finance, with honors from the University of San Francisco.
As a member of the Saint Francis Yacht Club, Ms. Decker enjoys sailing with her husband, and restoring their vintage boat. She also enjoys traveling, attending concerts, and restoring and driving classic cars.
