Katie Greenbaum is an Associate in Tyson & Mendes’ San Diego office. Her practice focuses primarily on defending personal injury, products liability, general liability, and professional malpractice claims. Ms. Greenbaum has litigation experience representing individuals, businesses, and insurance companies.
She has successfully resolved numerous cases involving complex business and landlord-tenant issues, as well as, matters already in default. Ms. Greenbaum works diligently to obtain favorable settlements for her clients, including resolving a $1,000,000 policy limits demand for $25,000 on the grounds plaintiff’s injury was not medically viable. She is also well versed in the applicability of the Medicare Secondary Payer Act to liability settlements.
Ms. Greenbaum earned her J.D. in 2016 from University of San Diego School of Law, where she was a member of the San Diego Law Review and received a CALI Award in Legal Research and Writing II. She received her B.A. in Political Science and International Relations from the University of California, San Diego in 2012. Ms. Greenbaum is licensed to practice law in California and the District of Columbia.
Outside the office, Ms. Greenbaum enjoys traveling and trying new restaurants with her husband. She is a passionate tennis fan and former captain of the UC San Diego Women’s tennis team.
