Karli Burns is an Associate at Tyson & Mendes’ Orange County office. Her practice focuses on workers’ compensation defense.
Ms. Burns has experience representing various employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators throughout Southern California. She has handled cases from inception to trial and has obtained favorable rulings for her clients. Ms. Burns also has substantial negotiation experience, which has led her to obtain favorable settlements at all stages of litigation.
Ms. Burns obtained her J.D. from Whittier Law School, where she served as Editor-in-Chief for the Law Journal of Child and Family Advocacy and graduated cum laude. She was also a member of the Moot Court Honors Board and competed in the Bryant Moore Invitational Moot Court Competition in Washington D.C. Ms. Burns is also licensed to practice law in Nevada.
In her free time, Ms. Burns enjoys going to the gym, hiking, and doing anything fitness related. She also enjoys reading, trying new coffee shops, and spending time with her fur baby.
