Joseph Powers

Joseph Powers is an Associate at Tyson & Mendes’ Los Angeles Office.  His practice primarily focuses on premises liability, construction defect, and personal injury litigation.

Mr. Powers has extensive litigation experience representing entities and their employees on the state court level throughout California.  Recently, Mr. Powers successfully prepared motions for summary judgment in areas of law such as independent contractor liability and contractual indemnity obligations.

Mr. Powers obtained his J.D. from the University of California, San Diego, where he was recognized for outstanding community service.  Mr. Powers received his B.A. from the University of California, Riverside.

In his free time, Mr. Powers enjoys spending time outdoors and can often be found visiting a local Southern California trail, a state or national park, or one of the amazing beaches in the Orange County area.  His interests also include reading, sports, and fitness.
