Jordan Pratty is an Associate at Tyson & Mendes’ Los Angeles office, where he is member of a multi-attorney litigation team. His practice focuses on catastrophic personal injury defense, construction defect, premises liability, product liability, and surety defense.
Mr. Pratty has extensive litigation experience representing individuals and businesses in California state and federal district courts. His experience extends through all aspects of case management, including pre-litigation, initial pleadings, demurrers, written discovery, depositions, dispositive motions, evidentiary motions, trial preparation, and post-trial motions and appeals. Mr. Pratty has successfully obtained dismissal through a Motion for Summary Judgment. He has also negotiated settlements for many clients with values significantly below plaintiff’s initial demand.
Mr. Pratty obtained his J.D. from the University of California Los Angeles School of Law in 2014, where he served on the Journal of Law and Technology and the Entertainment Law Review. While in law school, he also clerked for the Hon. Patricia Schnegg, Acting Supervising Judge of the Los Angeles Superior Court. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2010, where he was a member of the Executive Council of Alpha Gamma Omega, as well as the Ski and Snowboard Race Team.
As a Los Angeles native, Mr. Pratty enjoys attending local live music concerts and supporting Los Angeles sports teams, especially the Dodgers. He also enjoys playing music himself and skiing at Mammoth Mountain. His interests also include photography, cooking, and traveling.
