David Weiss is Senior Counsel in Tyson & Mendes’ Jacksonville office. His practice focuses on property damage, premises liability, personal injury matters, and civil litigation.

Mr. Weiss is an experienced civil litigation attorney who has built a distinguished career representing insurance companies, homeowners, and condominium associations as well as individuals throughout Florida. What sets him apart is his commitment to practical, straightforward counsel. He takes pride in providing clients with clear, unvarnished assessments of both the facts and the law governing their cases, achieving a resolution rate of more than 80% through arbitration and mediation, with average settlements 55% below initial demands. This honest approach enables clients to make informed decisions about their legal strategies. Mr. Weiss obtained his J.D. from St. Thomas School of Law in 2002. He obtained his B.S. in Banking & Finance from Adelphi University in 1981.
