Courtney E. Leverty

Courtney E. Leverty is Senior Counsel in Tyson & Mendes’ San Diego office.  Her practice areas are construction defect, personal injury, premise liability, and professional liability cases.

Ms. Leverty has extensive litigation experience; she second chaired trials with partners at her prior firm early in her career.  After nine years with the Washoe County District Attorney’s Office, Ms. Leverty is excited to shift her focus again to representing individuals, businesses and insurance companies in litigating across California, and if necessary, Nevada state courts.

Ms. Leverty earned her J.D. from California Western School of Law in 2001.  She earned her B.A. in Spanish from the University of Arizona in 1997.  She is licensed to practice law in California and Nevada.

In her free time, you can find Ms. Leverty volunteering with the Challenged Athlete Foundation, swimming, running, skiing, or at yoga.
