Cindy Mader is Senior Counsel at Tyson & Mendes’ Los Angeles office. Her practice focuses on general liability litigation and personal injury defense. Ms. Mader has significant experience litigating and advising clients in connection with various business and commercial disputes in federal and state courts throughout California.
Prior to joining Tyson & Mendes, Ms. Mader specialized in insurance litigation relating to life, health, and disability policies, insurance bad faith, and ERISA. Additionally, she has successfully negotiated and resolved ERISA/non-ERISA claim disputes. She has handled matters from the pre-litigation stage through final resolution, including negotiations, mediations, trials, and appeals. In addition to providing excellent service, Ms. Mader strives to build lasting relationships with her clients.
Ms. Mader received her B.A. in political science from UCLA in 1997 and her J.D. from Loyola Law School in 2000. While in law school, Ms. Mader served as a Senior Note and Comment Editor for the Loyola of Los Angeles International and Comparative Law Review, where she published, “The Vietnamese Stock Market: Viability in Southeast Asia and Appeal Around the World,” 21 Loy. L.A. Int’l & Comp. L. Rev. 607 (1999). Ms. Mader also externed for Associate Justice Margaret Grignon of the California Court of Appeal, Second Appellate District and clerked for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
In her free time, Ms. Mader enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, swimming and surfing at the beach, and snowboarding. As a side passion, she enjoys fashion and is always on the hunt for the perfect vintage Chanel handbag.
