Chris Engle

Chris Engle is an Associate in Tyson & Mendes’ Seattle office. Mr. Engle’s practice focuses on construction defect litigation and complex litigation in general. He defends businesses and individuals in tort and contract matters.
Mr. Engle has worked at large firms as part of litigation teams on multi-million-dollar cases. He has successfully represented LLCs and corporations in negotiating successful launches and occasional break-ups, as well as representing the individuals involved. He has successfully prosecuted several trademarks with the USPTO to registration, including agency actions. Mr. Engle was intimately involved in implementing world-wide compliance measures for a Fortune 500 company related to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the UK Bribery Act, reducing risk for itself and its customers. He has also successfully represented prime and sub-contractors in prosecuting claims for delay against governmental entities.
Mr. Engle received his J.D. from Seattle University School of Law in 1997, graduating cum laude. He obtained his B.A. from the University of Washington in Philosophy. He is admitted in Washington State, the Eastern District of Washington, and the Court of Federal Claims.
Mr. Engle enjoys spending time and traveling with his family. He also enjoys reading, snorkeling, and playing his guitar.
