Astrid Chim Villagran

Astrid Chim Villagran is an Associate in Tyson & Mendes’ Northern California office. Her practice areas include premises liability and habitability, as well as employment discrimination, medical malpractice, construction defects, and other general liability issues.

Prior to joining Tyson & Mendes, Ms. Chim Villagran worked at a boutique family law firm in Oakland. Before she became an attorney, she built a strong background in finance and technology, spending four years specializing in fraud analysis and investigations. Her diverse experience allows Ms. Chim Villagran to bring a unique combination of financial insight and legal expertise to her practice.

Ms. Chim Villagran obtained her J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration from San Francisco State University and spent a semester studying abroad in 2010 at The American Business School of Paris.

Outside of her professional life, Ms. Chim Villagran loves traveling and discovering hidden gems known only to locals. When she’s not exploring new destinations, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband, and their three pups: Marley, Roxy, and Sansa. Whether hiking, venturing to new spots, or simply relaxing at home, Ms. Chim Villagran treasures these moments with family.
