Arielle Collins

Arielle Collins is an Associate at Tyson & Mendes’ Seattle office, where her practice focuses on insurance defense and civil litigation.

Prior to joining Tyson & Mendes, Ms. Collins began her legal career in the state of Idaho, where she clerked for Judge Samuel Hoagland for the Fourth Judicial District Court before gaining extensive courtroom and trial experience in the criminal field, first as a public defender, then as a prosecutor where she successfully second-chaired a manslaughter trial for the Idaho Attorney General’s Office. While at the Idaho Attorney General’s Office, much of her prosecutorial experience involved handling and filing public corruption and insurance fraud cases. She is also adept at stepping into cases at any stage in the litigation process to provide evaluations and prepare the cases for trial and a successful outcome.

She earned her J.D. from the University of Idaho College of Law, where she served as Managing Editor for the Idaho Law Review and President of the American Constitution Society Idaho Chapter. She earned her B.A. in English from Reed College, Portland, Oregon.

In her free time, Ms. Collins enjoys spending time with friends, family, her cats (Edith and Marcel), and the great PNW. She also appreciates live concerts, traveling, pretending to be a professional foodie, and serving her community.
