Arber Cobaj - Associate

Arber Cobaj is an Associate in Tyson & Mendes’ New York office.  Prior to joining Tyson & Mendes, Mr. Cobaj practiced civil litigation with a focus on insurance defense and corporate, environmental, and real estate law in firms based in Manhattan and White Plains.  Upon graduating from college, Mr. Cobaj began his career leading a small team focused on research and development of corporate sustainability endeavors.

Mr. Cobaj obtained his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 2019, where he served as president of the environmental law society, and he received his bachelor’s degree from SUNY New Paltz in 2015.  During law school, he gained valuable experience as a legal intern for Safe Horizon, a nonprofit organization providing social services for victims of abuse and violent crimes in New York City.  He has also served as a legal extern for the Brooklyn Bar Association Volunteer Lawyers Project’s Consumer Law division.  Mr. Cobaj is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and is a member of the New York State Bar Association.

In his free time, Mr. Cobaj enjoys being a perpetual tourist throughout his home state of New York, playing rugby, and spending as much time with (and learning from) his family and friends.
