Anthony Passela

Anthony Passela is an Associate in Tyson & Mendes’ New York office. His practice focuses on general liability defense, including premises liability cases, motor vehicle accidents, and the defense of entities such as schools, childcare centers, and religious organizations where sexual torts and misconduct are alleged.
Mr. Passela obtained his J.D. from Villanova University School of Law in 2024. During his time in law school, he served as the Managing Editor of Research and Writing for the Villanova Law Review and authored a casenote that analyzed recent reforms to federal criminal sentencing guidelines. He also gained hands-on advocacy experience in his work with the Civil Justice Clinic, an organization that provides legal assistance to low-income people. He received the Dorthy Day Award for Pro Bono Service in recognition of his work with the Clinic. Before attending law school, Mr. Passela also received his B.A. from Villanova University, where he graduated magna cum laude with a double major in Economics and Political Science.
Mr. Passela is an avid outdoorsman and college sports fan. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, hiking, skiing, and cheering on his Villanova Wildcats.
