Angela Fidger is Senior Counsel in Tyson & Mendes’ Orange County office. Her practice focuses on general liability/insurance defense and construction litigation.
Over the course of her more than 20-year career, Ms. Fidger has successfully represented general contractors and subcontractors in matters involving construction defects, individuals in business/contract disputes, personal injury, and general liability. She has represented over 100 subcontractors covering multiple trades in both residential and commercial construction matters. In many cases, including recently, Ms. Fidger has been successful in obtaining settlements far below the amount of claimed damages, with numerous settlements early in the litigation process, with numerous being dismissals for waivers of costs. For several years, Ms. Fidger served as an adjunct professor at College of the Canyons in Valencia, California for the Paralegal Program teaching Legal Writing. She previously worked as a paralegal for a multinational law firm focusing on the defense of the tobacco industry.
Ms. Fidger received her J.D. from Whittier College School of Law in 2000. During law school, she was on the Dean’s List several times and graduated cum laude. She received her paralegal certificate from Denver Paralegal Institute. She is a member of the State Bar of California.
In her free time, she likes to spend time with her husband, family, friends and their orange tabby, Chester. She also enjoys reading, traveling and watching baseball—Go Yankees!
