Amanda Fornwalt is Senior Counsel at Tyson & Mendes’ Los Angeles office. Her practice focuses on general liability litigation and personal injury defense in state and federal courts throughout California.
Prior to joining Tyson & Mendes, Ms. Fornwalt focused her career on aiding businesses, from newly formed to well established public corporations, in litigation and transactional work. She has worked tirelessly to successfully defend businesses in wide ranging liability claims and in various business disputes. She has successfully negotiated hundreds of favorable resolutions on behalf of her clients. Ms. Fornwalt also has extensive experience in assisting clients with asset protection, loss mitigation, compliance and negotiation, and drafting of business agreements. With each of her clients, Ms. Fornwalt strives to protect her clients’ reputation, their business and themselves with the same creativity, energy, and passion her clients bring to their own businesses and lives.
Ms. Fornwalt obtained her J.D. from Santa Clara University in 2003. While in law school, she studied abroad at Oxford University and earned her International Law Certificate. Ms. Fornwalt obtained her B.A. from University of California at Irvine, where she was on the University Dean’s Honor List and was a member of Phi Theta Kappa and Alpha Gamma Sigma honors societies.
As an avid fan of the outdoors, Ms. Fornwalt enjoys exploring new hiking trails with her dog, George, running half marathons, and traveling. She also enjoys reading in her free time.
