SAN DIEGO (Feb. 05, 2018) – Entering 2018 poised for accelerated growth, civil litigation firm Tyson & Mendes LLP announced today that it has hired its 100th attorney, as well as launched a new charitable giving initiative, T&M Giving.

Agyeman is an associate in Tyson & Mendes’ San Diego office whose practice focuses primarily on general liability and personal injury litigation. Before joining Tyson & Mendes, Agyeman first-chaired a variety of trials. He received his juris doctor from Pepperdine University in 2012.

The recently formed T&M Giving initiative comes on the heels of a period of rapid expansion for the San Diego-headquartered firm, which specializes in insurance defense.

“Last year was marked by explosive growth for our firm,” said Managing Partner Robert Tyson. “We added 45 new attorneys and opened two new offices – including our first East Coast location in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. As we continue to expand our outreach, staff and resources, we are now prepared to launch T&M Giving, concentrating on organizations which support education and disadvantaged youth.”

The initiative will kick off, he said, during the week of March 26, when staff from all eight firm offices nationwide volunteer with their local Boys & Girls Club affiliates. “This is the first of two volunteer events T&M Giving plans to host in 2018. Both events are designed to get all employees out of their respective offices and donate their time and energy to a good cause.”

T&M Giving will also collect monthly donations throughout 2018 and donating the total to No Kid Hungry, an organization committed to ending childhood hunger. Founding Partners Robert Tyson and Patrick Mendes will match the funds raised by the employees.
