Tyson & Mendes established the T&M Giving program to help meet needs across the country. The program supports nonprofit organizations committed to providing educational opportunities and resources to disadvantaged youth in markets the firm serves.

T&M Giving charitable efforts are designed to engage employees across the firm in donating time and supporting their local communities as they are able. Onsite giving has involved partnering with the Boys & Girls Club to provide after-school tutoring to local students; working with the Ronald McDonald House to serve meals to families of children with serious illnesses; and volunteering with children’s organizations in local communities,  helping with homework, reading, playing games, and mentoring young minds. Virtual volunteering has included sending hundreds of well-wishing letters to nursing homes throughout the nation during the COVID-19 pandemic, and working with Braven, an organization assisting low-income and first-generation college students’ transition into the workforce, to conduct virtual mock interviews with students to prepare them for real life work scenarios.

Through T&M Giving, employees also have the option to make monthly donations to worthy causes. Since 2018, Tyson & Mendes employees have donated more than $113,000, an amount matched by founding Partners Bob Tyson and Pat Mendes, for a total of more than $226,000.

T&M Giving is our way of supporting noble causes across the markets Tyson & Mendes serves.  We are excited and proud to give back to our local communities each year through T&M Giving and to continuing to expand our impact as our firm grows.
