Lena Pond is an associate in Tyson & Mendes’ Arizona office. Lena represents defendants in state and federal court in a wide range of cases including insurance defense, insurance coverage disputes, insurance bad faith, professional liability, and general civil litigation. She has successfully litigated summary judgment motions, evidentiary motions, discovery disputes, and settlement conferences, obtaining favorable results for her clients.

I went to undergraduate at University of Washington and law school at Arizona State University.
What are your hobbies?
Rock climbing, running, yoga, reading, eating (I’m a bit of a foodie), seeing concerts, and seeing movies
What is your favorite part about practicing law?
I am always learning, both about the seemingly never-ending nuances of the law, and about a wide variety of other interesting topics – from the medical field to construction to business. I never get bored when there’s always something new to learn!
What would you be if you were not a lawyer?
Either an accountant or a high school math teacher

Not really! Lena is pretty short as it is.
