Matthew G. Tang

Matthew G. Tang is Senior Counsel in Tyson & Mendes’ Northern California office. His practice focuses on catastrophic personal injury defense, complex commercial litigation, and other general liability matters.

Mr. Tang has extensive experience representing both individuals and institutional clients in a wide range of practice areas, on both plaintiffs’ and defense matters. His past experience includes successfully defending or settling over a hundred cases in automobile accidents and premises liability, business disputes and securities litigation, homeowner association matters, real estate fraud matters, construction defect and associated insurance coverage issues, and other general civil litigation matters. Mr. Tang also has experience handling catastrophic trucking matters involving complex federal motor carrier regulations.

Mr. Tang earned his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland, Ohio in 2010.  He obtained his B.A. in Political Science from UCLA in 2006, where he was a recipient of the full-tuition UCLA Regents Scholarship.  Mr. Tang is a member of the California State Bar and the Asian American Bar Association of The Greater Bay Area.

In his free time, Mr. Tang enjoys traveling and discovering more about various cultures and cuisine with his friends and family, as well as indoor rock climbing.
