Legal Fees

Tyson & Mendes offers the most competitive rates in California. While most cases are taken on a traditional hourly fee basis, our firm is on the cutting edge of innovative fee structures and welcomes the opportunity to implement mutually beneficial billing structures. Following are some examples of how we bill:

• Flat fee: A litigated matter, or a portion of a litigation, is handled for an agreed upon fee in advance.
• Incentive based: Certain matters are taken by the firm on an hourly basis, but there is also a “success fee.” If the firm achieves an agreed upon result, either defending or pursuing a claim, the firm receives a bonus payment at the conclusion.
